Ik blog zó veel de laatste tijd! Ik heb lekker veel inspiratie de laatste tijd én vaak lenen een paar schooluren in de week zich als mijn zogenaamde bloguurtjes - soort van. Vandaag wil ik mijn wishlist met jullie delen en die wordt steeds langer. De hele maand januari heb ik uitgekeken naar februari, omdat er in die maand veel leuke dingen staan te gebeuren en het is naar mijn mening de laatste officiële wintermaand. Jaaa, ik kan niet wachten tot het lente wordt! Al begint de lente pas écht op 21 maart. Anyway, daarom is mijn wishlist een beetje spring-orientated. Kijken jullie mee? (En trouwens, ik word toch wel een beetje gek van mijn super cliché leads van mij. Oh well)

Heeey lieve lezers! Daar ben ik weer, bloggend in het Nederlands. I'm back at it! Ik voel toch dat ik mezelf beter in het Nederlands kan uitdrukken dan in het Engels, hoewel ik in het Engels bloggen wel heel erg leuk vond. Oh well, verwacht weer lekker veel Engelse termen die je om de oren vliegen tijdens het lezen van mijn nu weer Nederlandse artikelen, want dat is wat ik altijd al deed; Engelse termen gebruiken in mijn blog posts. En nu wil ik het meteen over iets hebben wat me eigenlijk best dwars zit en me een beetje boos maakt. Namelijk het feit dat mensen zó gemeen tegen elkaar kunnen zijn.

En dat wordt met de huidige 'vluchtelingen crisis' zo duidelijk. Tot voor kort was ik eigenlijk niet zo bezig met het hele vluchtelingen 'gedoe' in en buiten Nederland. Ik las er wel over en dacht er wel aan, maar het voelde nog nét iets te ver weg om er daadwerkelijk ook iets van te vinden. Waar sommige mensen in mijn omgeving wel een mening hadden over 'al die vluchtelingen', had ik niet echt een mening. Ik was niet vóór en niet tegen (de komst van) vluchtelingen, De laatste paar dagen is de hele vluchtelingen kwestie wél dichtbij gekomen. Een klasgenootje had een interview met een vluchteling voor de klas en dat heeft écht mijn ogen geopend. Al die mensen komen echt niet voor niets naar Europa. Waar zij vandaan komen is het oorlog. Het is gevaarlijk. En mij lijkt het verschrikkelijk om onvrijwillig weg te moeten uit mijn eigen land. En in veel gevallen hoort daar ook bij dat je je familie moet achterlaten.

Thinking about getting a tattoo brings me back to the time when I was 14 years old and obsessed with piercings, dying the ends of my hair red, smoking cigarettes and... - obviously - tattoo's. When I was 14 I clearly felt the need to be different. Now, four years later, I have changed a lot. I look no different from other people (no facial piercings, coloured hair, alternative clothing style, etc.) and also I don't feel the need to look any different, but on the other hand, I guess I'm just different in my very own way. Also, I think my dad just talked me out of it, of getting a tattoo. Well, surprise surprise (and sorry dad), but I'm - again - thinking about getting a tattoo!

And yet again I proved myself how quickly my moods change. A few days ago I felt ridiculously depressed (see my previous article, haha), but here I am: a lot happier and excited for life again. Phew. I think my mood swings are majorly just caused by post-teenage hormones and many insecurities, that sometimes - obviously - take over. Luckily my depressed moods have always been temporary and I'm glad to be back on track again. And also, sometimes it takes just one fun day, one message from a special person or one sweet comment about your appearance to feel happy again (just as it takes one negative comment to go down hill...). And I can prove my statement by the fact that last Sunday was such an amazing day and made me really happy. And so this article is a dedication to my happy Sunday, 17-01-2016.

...but a Blue Month. It's not even been Blue Monday yet, but I'm not feeling really happy these days. I don't know if it's the bad weather, the dumb problems I've created in my head or my self-esteem that's just so ridiculously low at the moment - probably a combination of all three -,  but I'm not so much a fan of this year's January. Partly because I have a lot of exciting things coming up next month and party because this month just sucks with all the rain and the bad vibes, I can't wait until it's February. Luckily I recently discovered some really nice music, that fits the bad weather and my slightly depressed mood perfectly, although it doesn't make me sad. I am talking about the band Cigarettes After Sex, a band that produces such chill and relaxing music, I can't get enough of it.
